President’s Letter

Hello everyone,

My name is Louis Silberman, academic president of National Laser Institute. I want to thank you for taking a moment check out our laser school testimonials, reviews and success stories from past students.

First of all, it is my goal to make sure every single one of our students is thrilled with their experience here and enjoy the many wonderful possibilities that an education in laser aesthetics brings to them. This is why I am always here to listen to what you have to say.

If you’re considering attending our school, I invite you to check out From student career change success stories to video testimonials done by our graduates, you will be able to get a great look at what our hands-on experience is like.

During my years in medical aesthetics education, I’ve seen the industry grow faster than anything I ever imagined. Don’t take my word for it though. The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) reports that since the first FDA-approved cosmetic laser was released in 1998, non-surgical cosmetic procedures have grown to make up more than 85% of the aesthetic marketplace…almost completely replacing plastic surgery. In fact, U.S. consumers purchased over 8.5 million procedures in 2009 alone.

This means that med spas and doctors offices everywhere are looking for well-educated laser specialists to meet the demand. The training at National Laser Institute gives our students the tools they need to impress their future employers and perform the best possible treatments. The opportunities are out there. The key to finding your dream job as a cosmetic laser technician is to persevere and never give up.

This isn’t something you have to do alone though. Because National Laser Institute is the largest medical aesthetics training center in the country, we often receive calls from medical offices and med spas across the country requesting graduate recommendations for cosmetic laser and cosmetic injectable specialists. Many of our graduates, including career changers new to the industry, have found their dream careers because of this.

If you are a National Laser Institute graduate looking for a position in your area and would like to give us permission to recommend you, please send us an e-mail at We want to hear from you. Be sure to include your full name and phone number so that we can quickly contact you when time-sensitive job openings come to our attention.

Another resource that our graduates have had a lot of success with is the Medical Aesthetics Resume Exchange. In just a few short minutes you can post your resume and easily get in front of businesses in your area looking to hire cosmetic laser specialists.

If you have questions, comments, suggestions or would like helpful advice on how to effectively job hunt and build your resume, please contact us. We want to make sure everyone gets a fast, personal response and has all of their questions answered. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Louis Silberman
